Offering a hand up—not a hand out
Helping those who served, by providing the necessary auto repair services for veterans should they need it and all just for the cost of parts.
Mechanics for Vets is an auto repair service for veterans in Sioux City, IA run by Corey Duckett. Corey is a veteran himself and after returning from deployment in Afghanistan, he began helping other veterans and friends work on their cars. Instead of charging them for labor, all they had to do was buy the parts.
“Mechanics for Vets gives me the chance to give back when, despite my own challenges, I have been very blessed and I can carry that over to others.” – Corey
Mechanics for Vets hopes to grow into a national organization so that it can serve all of America’s veterans.
